I am grateful to have the opportunity to be a part of the National Party and represent the people of Indi.
The people of Indi will be best served with a Nationals member fighting for them in Canberra.
I am Upper Murray born and bred, raised on the family dairy farm and together with my wife have raised our family in Wodonga.
My heart is in this region. I am proud to be a product of the Indi region.
I have for many years worked with, and across, all tiers of government, as a champion and advocate for rural and regional communities.
I am excited to use my experience – my regional connection, my networks and relationships – to the benefit of the Division of Indi.
The Indi electorate is a diverse and complex electorate, eight LGAs stretching from the Upper Murray through Indigo and Alpine, to Mansfield and Murrindindi, and down the Hume to Wodonga, Wangaratta, Benalla and the surrounding communities.
In my experience, regional communities like Indi place much more expectation on governments at all levels. Whether it’s the provision of services, growing jobs and business, improving education outcomes, or protecting the environment and the liveability of our region, I have the experience to get all levels of government working together effectively.
The Nationals are the only party that is focused completely on delivering for the regions and we have a great track record for delivering to our regional communities.
It is why I first joined The Nationals in 2015 and as part of The Nationals team in Canberra I will deliver for Indi.
There is no compensating for lived experience and a strong dose of common sense in government conversations and in policy development – particularly for regional communities like Indi.
