Our Structure – How The Nationals work
The Nationals comprise both a Parliamentary wing and an Organisational wing.
The Parliamentary wing of The Nationals is made up of Federal and State Parliamentarians. It is the responsibility of all Members, both Federal and State, to represent their respective electorates and States and to promote The Nationals’ policy and philosophy.
The Nationals organisational wing is responsible for:
- The Party platform and policies that reflect the fundamental beliefs and philosophy of The Nationals’ constituents;
- Pre-selection of the Party’s candidates for election to Parliament;
- Management and conduct of election campaigns; and
- Fundraising.
